Diving helmets require a 25% deposit, and signature on release, before we begin building your helmet for you. Prices listed do not include shipping and handling. We accept payment by credit card, check, money order, or PayPal. There is a 6% sales tax for in state purchases.

MK V Single Pin Communications Plug

Old stock surplus (late WW II through Vietnam) single pin female plug for MK V communications. It screws into the gooseneck of the helmet and into the communications rig of the tender. While these were designed to be mated to heavy four wire USN lifeline with a cable center, we furnish them as is, or with a modified compression nut to work with whatever thickness communications cable you are using. Item may have minor cosmetic blemishes.

MKV Transceiver

Finding the appropriate communications for you MKV helmet can be frustrating. If you are fortunate to find a working Guided Radio transceiver, it still takes up a fair amount of space inside the helmet. Therefore we have come up with a solution for you. Our MKV transceiver housing is taken from the earlier Schrader 3 wire design. We have done away with the need for the headset by installing a two way speaker in the unit. Built like the originals, from nickel plated brass castings, this unit inserts into the communications cup and is held securely in place by the lug.

Craftsweld Commercial Communications Telephone Assembly

Designed by Craftsweld Equipment Corp. to insert into the commercial communications cup, this assembly allows the diver and tender to communicate. The spun copper housing is inserted into the cup. Comes assembled with a wired, waterproof two-way speaker and is intended to be used with two wire communications line.

Telephone gooseneck close cap for MK V Helmet. This has been modified to receive 5/32” two wire communications cable with a compression fitting. We can outfit them with 1/4”, 3/8”, or 1/2” compression fitting as your needs require.
