Craftsweld Style Commercial Helmet

The classic Craftsweld twelve bolt, screw top, commercial diving helmet.  In 1952, after Craftsweld Equipment Corp. purchased the Schrader diving business from Scovill, they modified the classic Schrader helmet to meet the demands of modern divers.  This version follows their modifications.  Craftsweld did away with the hooks and eyes on the bonnet and replaced the studs on the breastplate with USN MK V lashing eyes.  Likewise they added a communications gland and cup.  The bonnet is spun from .050” copper, and the breastplate hammered from the same .050” thick copper, both which receives tin plating.  It is mated to a commercial style collar dry suit only and a Schrader non-return valve and tee wrench come with the helmet.

Three or four windows (add $265.00 for top window)
